Lesson Plan from Christy Milliken

Title: Fold it up

Language skill : Writing
Duration : 45 minutes

Openning

Prepare a piece of paper and pencil.

Main activity
  1. Ask students to write a simple sentence on a piece of paper. it is free topic. example "My house is beautyful". Write the sentence on the top of paper.
  2. Give the paper to a student on the left or right (choose one).
  3. Ask the students to read the sentence, then ask them to draw a picture about the sentence.
  4. Ask the students to fold the top of paper until the sentence is closed with paper. remember, do not close the picture. just the sentence.
  5. Pass the paper to the next student on the left.
  6. Ask the students to analyze the picture. then ask them to write a sentence about the picture.
  7. Ask the students to fold the top of paper until the picture is closed with paper. remember, do not close the sentence. just the picture.
  8. Pass the paper to the next student on the left.
  9. Ask the students to read the sentence, then ask them to draw a picture about the sentence.
  10. Ask the students to fold the top of paper until the sentence is closed with paper. remember, do not close the picture. just the sentence.
  11. Do the same activity untill there are 3 pictures on the paper
  12. Finally, ask student to open the folding paper, read and discus their work.
  13. Students can pass the paper to others.
  14. Teacher can read aloud and discust some most intersting work
